ORIGIN Origin is building the first truly AI-native wealth manager for the mass market—bringing together money management, guidance, and financial products into a single intelligent platform. Our mission is to make sophisticated financial management accessible, simple, and automated for everyday households. We’re building a durable, category-defining company at the intersection of AI, fintech, and consumer finance, with big ambitions for scale and long-term impact. We are a fast-paced startup in the series B round, led by repeat founders and backed by leading VC firms like Founders Fund, Felicis, and General Catalyst. The Role You'll own AI-driven product surfaces inside one of the most design-obsessed consumer finance products in the market. You will report to the CTO, partner daily with the CEO, and ship hands-on against the two things Origin is maniacal about: speed and design . What you'll own End-to-end product surface for a major area of the Origin Financial app (AI assistant, planning, investing, or onboarding — scoped on day one with the CTO). The full PM craft, hands-on. You write the PRDs, run the discovery, push the Figma files with our design partner, define the test plan, draft the QA cases, sit in on engineering standups, and own the metric. AI-native execution. You're expected to use AI heavily — for research, competitive teardowns, prototypes, PRD drafts, deck building, test-plan generation, exec readouts. Tooling preference is yours; the bar is the output and the speed. The interface between engineering, design, marketing, and Origin Financial's leadership team. You make the cross-functional motion run. Metric ownership. Every ship declares its activation / retention / ARPU / NPS target before the build starts, and you own the readout after. How you work Low ego. You thoughtful, an amazing listener and want to deeply understand problems before acting. You happily share credit and split scope with peers. You'd rather be right tomorrow than loud today. Hands-on, every day. No throwing work over the wall. You produce the artifacts yourself. You move fast. A week feels long. You ship the smallest thing that proves the bet. Design taste is non-negotiable. You don't have to push pixels, but you must be able to look at two flows and pick the better one — and say why. You write. Specs, decision memos, post-mortems. Writing is the artifact at Origin. What you've done 8+ years in product management with shipping reps in both a larger company (mature surface, real scale, real cross-functional rigor) and a small / early-stage company (0→1, no scaffolding, owned a P&L). Strong written communicator. Your PRDs, decision docs, and exec updates are short, testable, and unambiguous. Either one of the two paths: 3+ years in financial services — consumer fintech, wealth, neobank, brokerage, lending, or insurance. You understand RIA / BD / custody / regulated-flow constraints well enough to ship without breaking them. 3+ years in highly competitive direct-to-consumer SaaS — consumer product, growth and distribution, rapid iteration and research. You understand the metrics and the pace that is required in a competitive marketplace. AI-product experience (Nice to have) — you've shipped an AI feature (LLM-backed, agentic, or assistive) inside a consumer or financial product, with real metrics. Quantitative fluency (Nice to have) — You pull your own data if needed. You read a retention curve and a funnel without a deck. You partner with the data leadership for complex modelling, but don’t sit idle. This is not the role if You expect a "hand-off executive" seat where you delegate the craft. At Origin you own both the vision and execution. You believe AI-leveraged PM work is beneath you. Origin is an AI-heavy org — if you wouldn't draft your own PRD with AI, this isn't your role. Reporting & location Reports to the CTO . Weekly 1:1 with the CTO; bi-weekly 1:1 with the CEO. Direct exposure to the founders is structural, not optional. Bos
