ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a Senior Manager of Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), reporting to the Senior Director of GSS & Supplier Development Engineering (SDE). In this role you will be responsible for leading a team and their strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier development & industrialization efforts to support the company’s global operations and manufacturing goals in indirect commodities (Professional Services, CapEx, Software/SaaS, R&D, etc.). This role requires strong people management experience, deep technical expertise in indirect services and processes, and the ability to deliver on strategic initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL DO Strategic Sourcing Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for indirect commodities (Professional Services, CapEx, Software/SaaS, R&D, etc.) to drive cost savings, quality improvements, and supply chain resilience. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers with strong capabilities in the indirect commodities. Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with company objectives. People Management Build and lead a high-performing team of strategic sourcing professionals. Scale the team to meet the organization’s fast-paced growth needs, ensuring talent development and retention. Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities for team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results-driven performance. Performance & Metrics Track and report key metrics, including cost savings, supplier quality (PPM), on-time delivery, and supplier capacity. Develop and implement scalable processes to improve supplier management and operational efficiency. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supplier development roles, with at least 3+ years of people management experience. Experience managing and scaling teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, leading supplier industrialization efforts for NPI and scaling production. Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or Master's in a related field Proven ability to lead supplier industrialization efforts for NPI and scaling production. Proficiency in supplier qualification processes (FAI, PPAP, APQP) and quality management systems (ISO, AS9100). Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools for cost modeling and performance tracking. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. US Salary Range $191,000 — $253,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
