ABOUT MORPHO Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that raised million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone, not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system. OUR MISSION Morpho's mission is to power human ambition with open access to capital. Human ambition has no borders, but the capital to fuel it does. Today's financial system is closed and fragmented. No one sees all opportunities, most overpay, and some are excluded entirely. We believe capital should flow efficiently to where it's needed most - giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. LOCATION New York HOW WE WORK We move fast on hard problems in a nascent market with no set playbook: navigating uncertainty is part of the job. You'll be challenged: anyone can question work and decisions must be justified. We keep a high bar and match it with high support: we help each other unblock and share context openly, with low ego. ROLE The mission of this role is to extend Morpho's institutional reach into private credit and structured finance by providing the TradFi structuring expertise the protocol needs to bring illiquid lending on-chain. As Morpho expands beyond crypto-collateralized markets, this person will act as co-pilot to the Head of Institutional Growth — turning complex regulatory and structural questions into closed deals. RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner with the Head of Institutional Growth on institutional conversations, providing structured finance credibility and depth to accelerate complex deal negotiations with banks and asset managers. - Structure origination agreements across securitizations, asset-backed facilities, and private credit deals, designing the terms that make each partnership viable on Morpho's protocol. - Identify and flag regulatory, compliance, and bank-internal process risks early in deal cycles, proposing concrete mitigations to keep integrations on track. - Guide fintech and distribution partners on illiquid-market questions — determining which origination models fit Morpho's existing infrastructure and which require custom structuring. - Build internal reference material on private credit and structured finance to raise the team's baseline fluency and compress future deal cycles. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 30 days Ramp on crypto fundamentals and Morpho's protocol and institutional architecture. Meet the key internal stakeholders and active counterparties. Understand how existing integrations are structured and where the gaps are. First 4 months Embedded as a consistent second voice on active institutional conversations. Have flagged regulatory and compliance risks on at least one live deal, proposed actionable mitigations, and helped a partner navigate their institution's internal machinery — risk committee, compliance review, or equivalent. Begin building internal reference material on private credit and structured finance. In 1 year Led an institutional integration end-to-end from first briefing to launch. Recognized internally and externally as Morpho's structuring voice on illiquid credit. Internal knowledge base on structured finance adopted and used by the broader team. MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS - 7+ years in traditional finance with a focus on fixed income and a specialization in private credit, securitization, structured credit, or bespoke lending deal design — deal-based work, not trading. - Hands-on experience with digital assets gained inside a regulated institution (a bank's digital-assets or tokenization team, o
