THE ROLE We're looking for thoughtful, hardworking, creative engineers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. As a Product Engineer, you'll build core features and own large product areas across our mobile and web apps while helping scale and refine the systems that power them. We're NY- and LA-based with a hybrid in-person model (in the office 3 days a week). Our stack is React (web app), React Native (mobile app), Node.js http://node.js/, and Typescript. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Build end-to-end features across our web and mobile apps, from design to launch - Own all aspects of technical implementation: backend, frontend, web, mobile - Help prioritize features and projects based on data, user feedback, and company goals - Scope features from both a product and technical perspective, writing thoughtful product requirements and technical design documents - Meet with users to get real product signal and feedback, and work closely with our designers to craft thoughtful UX/UI - Collaborate with our community team to understand how our product is being used - Take full ownership of large product areas as you grow - Help drive improvements in code quality, velocity, and engineering best practices - Mentor (and be mentored by) other high-performing engineers - Join an ambitious team that moves fast and loves what we build WHAT YOU'LL BRING: - 2–11 years of full-time software engineering experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with a track record of seeing projects through from idea to impact - Strong product
