JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance and repairs across all company vehicles, golf carts, forklifts, and heavy/specialized equipment. Serves as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and operational RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage preventive and reactive maintenance for all fleet vehicles, golf carts, forklifts, and heavy/miscellaneous equipment - Coordinate vendor scheduling, onsite management, and service follow-through - Partner with the DOT Training Manager and Fleet Senior Manager on documentation, compliance tracking, and recordkeeping - Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair histories - Source and manage vendor relationships; onboard new vendors as equipment needs arise - Identify and escalate equipment concerns, safety issues, or licensing requirements to appropriate teams (EHS, HR, etc.) - Assist with rental equipment management - Monitor ticketing system for maintenance/repair requests or failed safety Pre/Post Trip inspections. - Collaborate with departments on NEW equipment request sourcing and work with Finance/AP for guidance on purchase vs. Rent decisions. - Analyze current equipment rentals across the U.S for deficiencies and savings related to Purchase vs. Rent QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in fleet, facilities, or equipment maintenance coordination - Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements. (Not Required but could be beneficial) - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple vendors and equipment types simultaneously - Background in cost saving initiatives related to maintenance plans, or creating/improving process.
