About The Role We’re hiring skilled, reliable phlebotomists and medical assistants to join our mobile care team serving patients across Manhattan, NYC. This is not your typical clinic-based role—our mobile care team travel directly to patients’ homes using the city’s public transportation system to deliver a diverse array of preventative care and diagnostic services. Trainings will be offered to acquaint you with fresh and captivating services, encompassing tasks like capturing diabetic retina images, performing ECGs, recording using digital stethoscopes and more. If you know your way around the subway better than most—especially the A and the 1/2/3/4/5/6 lines—you might be exactly who we’re looking for. Successful candidates will have previous experience in venipuncture, coupled with traits such as dependability, professionalism, problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to customer service excellence. We’re building a team of Transit-Pros—phlebotomists who are highly proficient at navigating NYC via trains and buses. Our daily operations depend on efficiency, route optimization, and real-time transit decisions to meet our goal of 8 patient appointments per day. You won’t need a car—just the ability to thrive using public transit and understand how to move quickly and reliably through the city. Most importantly, we are seeking candidates who are friendly, compassionate, empathetic, and genuinely care about patients. A day in the life of a Sprinter … - Commencing the day… Your day will begin by ensuring that you have all of the proper supplies and PPE with you to care for that day’s patients - Navigating with ease… Using easy and modern technology, you will access your schedule for the day and commute to each patient’s home - Creating meaningful bonds… Once you have arrived, you will have the opportunity to make a warm and welcoming connection with a diverse range of patients as you prepare to collect relevant information and perform various services - Patient-centric, diagnostic and low acuity care…Your appointments will encompass an array of different services, including but not limited to phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, ECGs and more! All services must be rendered in a manner that is comfortable and easy for the patient. - Sample collection and management… If samples are collected, you will ensure they are labeled properly and then coordinate drop off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility Skills and Requirements - Consistently exhibit the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability, confidentiality, care and compassion to provide high quality health services - Deep familiarity with NYC public transit system—especially key subway lines and bus connections. - Travel between appointments using NYC subways and buses (primarily A, 1/2/3/4/5/6 lines) - Willing to work in a revolutionary environment that sometimes necessitates last minute problem solving and out of the box thinking - Technologically savvy and comfortable using tools such as mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination - Strong communication skills; both written and verbal - Strong time management and route-planning skills as you maintain a daily schedule of up to 8 appointments across assigned zones - Comfortable working with minimal supervision in patient homes - Ability to phys
