The Director, Performance Marketing will report to the VP of Demand Gen & Growth and is accountable for the overall performance marketing strategy and outcomes that drive 1Password's sales-led growth (SLG) and product-led-growth (PLG). You'll lead a team of high performers running the paid programs that deliver pipeline and drive revenue, with full accountability for where the money goes and what it produces. On the PLG side, you will focus on both B2C and B2B motion, driving acquisition to product sign-ups at incredible velocity globally for the absolute category leader in consumer and business password managers. For SLG you will be generating demand across IT, Security, and Engineering buyer persona in SMB, Comm, and Enterprise with a sharp focus on North America and EMEA. As a key member of the Growth leadership team, you will set the long-term strategic direction for paid channels, champion an AI-forward culture across the team, and ensure performance marketing investments are aligned with 1Password's broader business objectives. This leader operates at the intersection of strategy, deep performance marketing domain expertise, and technology, balancing bold long-range thinking with the operational rigor needed to deliver measurable results across a global, multi-channel paid portfolio. How we’re using AI today On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. We’ve built agents to improve workflows focused on competitive intelligence, content creation, and campaign planning, helping us stay sharp, reduce context-switching, and surface the right information at the right time. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
