About Us ZeroTier leads the world in next-generation connectivity and cybersecurity. Our platform provides highly secure, peer-to-peer virtual networks, relied upon by millions of users and businesses — from individual users and startups to mid-scale enterprises and Fortune 500 companies. We’re backed by awesome investors including Battery Ventures, Bonfire Ventures, and Anorak Ventures. The Role ZeroTier is seeking a strategic part-time Product Copywriter with roots in cybersecurity and networking to help continue to define and elevate our market narrative. This role is designed for a subject matter expert who not only writes with precision but also understands how to leverage branding, positioning and buyer personas to drive growth and who can direct AI agents and content tooling to scale that output without sacrificing quality. You operate with confidence in ambiguous information, turning incomplete briefs and evolving positioning into clear, compelling narratives. You will act as the bridge between our technical architecture and our target industries, translating complex networking concepts into brand-aligned writing with an interest slant towards prospects and end-users. You are equally comfortable in a threat model conversation and a copy review, and you know that great copy is never dumbed down, only sharpened. While this is a remote role located anywhere in the continental United States, preference will be shown to qualified candidates located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex or Portland, Oregon. We encourage you to apply for this position if you feel you are a match, regardless of location.
