About the Role TRM Labs builds the intelligence infrastructure behind the world's most consequential crypto investigations. As an All-source Intelligence Analyst, you will execute OSINT collection operations and build targeting packages on SE Asia scam compound networks from inside the region. You will fuse cell triangulation, IP geolocation, GEOINT, adtech, and in-region physical collection with financial intelligence and on-chain data to produce targeting packages that disrupt crypto-enabled fraud at scale. The impact you will have: - Run end-to-end intelligence and OSINT operations against scam infrastructure across Southeast Asia, converting collection into targeting-ready intelligence for TRM teams and government partners. - Trace scam compounds geographically and operationally using cell triangulation, IP geolocation, GEOINT, adtech, physical OSINT, on-chain attribution, and commercially available data across Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. - Process investigative returns at high volume and feed victim, operator, and infrastructure data into TRM’s intelligence and product pipelines. - Pivot from a single victim, wallet, device, or compound lead into broader operational networks and actionable investigative leads. - Partner closely with TRM’s Scams SME team, on-chain analysts, and the DC-based targeting cell to support government enforcement actions. What we're looking for: - US Citizen; Bangkok presence or willingness for extensive APAC travel - 3-5+ years of all-source investigative or targeting experience — federal law enforcement (former 1811s — e.g., FBI, HSI, IRS-CI, Secret Service), Intelligence Community all-source analysis, or mission-aligned private sector equivalent - OSINT Tradecraft — Hands-on experience with cell triangulation, IP geolocation, GEOINT, adtech analysis, infrastructure attribution, and link analysis. - Targeting & Analytical Skills — Experience building operational intelligence products or targeting packages for government or law enforcement partners. - APAC Operational Experience — Southeast Asia field experience (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, or Cambodia) strongly preferred; regional language skills are a major differentiator. - AI & Investigative Fluency — Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate investigative workflows, synthesize data, and draft operational outputs. - Mission Alignment — Financial crime or crypto experience is a plus, not a requirement. About the Team: - TRM's Primary Intelligence function sits within R&D and leads intelligence product development for government and commercial customers - Close collaboration with TRM's Scams SME team, who provide foundational scam compound domain context - This is a build role: you will establish TRM's APAC field presence and targeting capability from the ground up Team Operating Rhythms - Weekly team syncs to align targeting priorities and review disruption opportunities - Daily async standups via Slack on active work, returns, and target packages in flight - Primary time zone overlap: US Eastern / APAC - All output documented in Notion and TRM’s investigative tools - Surge availability expected during time-sensitive disruption windows LIFE AT TRM We are building a safer world.
