What we’re looking for SurveyMonkey Enterprise is a powerful survey platform that enables teams and organizations to enhance their business ecosystem with People Powered Data, helping them make smarter, data-driven decisions.The Enterprise Admin Experience team builds enterprise-grade administration tools used by SurveyMonkey’s largest customers. We develop advanced user and team management features, including asset library management, role-based access control, survey branding, user reporting, and core security services (Identity, AuthN, AuthZ), such as SSO and OAuth 2.0/OIDC.We are looking for a talented Front-End Software Engineer with a passion for building modern user experiences and a basic understanding of backend concepts. Our team works closely with product and design partners to elevate the enterprise customer experience and expand our business. What you’ll be working on Planning, designing, and building front-end experiences Top-to-bottom ownership of new features, including crafting technical specs, writing readable and extensible code, and keeping tabs on post-release metrics Working closely with product managers and UX designers, iterating quickly to ensure we build the best solutions with quality in mind Collaborating with other engineers to validate best practices and logical designs Focusing on code quality and optimizing for performance, accessibility and reliability Mentoring and guiding engineers on best practices Promoting and contributing to the design patterns and development techniques across our engineering organization We’d love to hear from people with 8+ years of experience in web application development Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js, Next.js, Apollo GQL Experience with technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, Python, and TypeScript Experience coding around various external service APIs Strong interest in doing code reviews, writing tech specs, collaborating within and across teams, and troubleshooting issues Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners Experience deploying scalable software with Docker, Ansible or K8S Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS Experience with Authentication and Authorization systems, including knowledge of at least one of SAML, OIDC, or OAuth SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making.
