The role 💼 At Waitwhile you work closely with our CTO and engineering team, contributing to scalable, high impact features that improve both our platform and user experience. Our tech stack includes Typescript and Javascript, NodeJS, Firebase, Firestore, BigQuery, Angular and React, running on Linux in Google Cloud Platform. We're open to different backgrounds, whether you're a fullstack developer with a passion for backend, or a dedicated backend engineer. What matters most is your drive, problem-solving acumen, and ambition to level up your skills while building something that truly makes a difference. What our engineering-teams do 🚀 Build new platform features such as smart queuing, appointment scheduling, and customer journey automation. Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability across our stack Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to ship high-quality features quickly Troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges in production Drive improvements to engineering best practices, tooling, and code quality What you have 🙌 5+ years of experience building web applications Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or Java Experience working with cloud platforms Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and system design Great communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to cross-functional teams A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Bonus if you have Experience with Google Cloud Platform Previously worked at a startup or on a SaaS product Exposure to Firebase, Firestore, BigQuery, Angular/React, or Node.js A great place to work💙 We want Waitwhile to be an incredible place to work.
