About the Job We’re hiring a Regional Recovery Account Manager based in the Northeast Region of the country that ensures donors are properly recovered for Ossium Health’s vertebral body recovery program. The position is part of Ossium Health’s Donor team and focuses on training, educating, and strengthening relationships with new and existing recovery partners across all aspects of vertebral body recovery. This includes providing hands-on instruction, evaluating recovery performance, and identifying areas for improvement during in-person training sessions and through post-recovery assessments. You will report directly to the Manager, Recovery Services. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 4+ years of experience in an organ procurement organization (OPO), with hands-on tissue recovery experience Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor Ability to handle confidentiality of all donor/recipient information Ability to cultivate, maintain, and strengthen relationships Strong organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and organize time effectively This field-based position supports the Eastern region of the country; candidates must reside within the Northeast region of the US and within 30 miles of a major airport, or be willing to relocate Ideal locations include (but are not limited to): Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, or Washington, DC. Occasional travel to San Francisco and Indianapolis may be required for meetings, training, and collaboration with internal teams Preferred Qualifications Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) Tissue recovery training experience Key Responsibilities Train and assist onboarding new recovery partners, including organizing and running recovery wet labs Perform Ossium tissue recoveries with our recovery partners as needed, including traveling to recovery partner sites to perform recoveries on short notice Serve as the primary point of contact for recovery partners, addressing questions and concerns Ensure recovery partners are equipped with the necessary supplies and operational support Interface with quality system to follow up on audit outcomes Regularly travel to partner sites for check-ins and training sessions based on the needs of Ossium and its recovery partners. Maintain strong relationships with teams at all recovery partners, including tracking of turnover and training new recovery personnel Utilize existing training resources to educate and train recovery partners on relevant topics Track progress, collect data, and produce reports on how recovery partners are doing, including developing a framework for assessing operational success Notify partners of pertinent non-conformances Interdepartmental collaboration to resolve any issues or complaints identified by Ossium recovery partners Train and oversee the performance of Tissue Recovery Specialists (Independent Contractors) working at your assigned accounts Meet with recovery partners as needed to help expedite chart clearing process In your first six months some projects you’ll work on include: Establishing relationships with assigned accounts Learning (or refining) vertebral body recovery skills Developing a deep understanding of what we do and how to train effectively Track recovery partner performance data and identify areas of improvement Physical Requirements Requires training in blood borne pathogen safety measures.
