Automation Consultant (Contractor)

Contract Details Contract Length: 6 months Hours per week: ~40 hours Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize Hamilton automation methods (Venus 4 or 6; preference for Venus 6). Translate bench-based assays into scalable, automated workflows. Execute thorough method testing with attention to liquid handling parameters (e.g., pipetting accuracy, mixing efficiency, plate formats). Troubleshoot automation protocols to resolve hardware/software and fluid handling issues. Support assay validation on automation platforms and contribute to quality control efforts. Generate clear, well-documented protocols, reports, and records consistent with internal standards and regulatory expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams while maintaining the ability to work independently.
