We’re looking for a seasoned Product Designer who thrives in ambiguity and challenging problem spaces. n8n is a powerful, flexible technical tool, which means the problems you tackle as a designer are complex. Your design decisions must account for diverse user workflows, technical constraints, and how changes impact the entire platform. To thrive here, you will need to love talking to users, understanding technology, and reducing complexity and scope. We’re currently hiring for different teams with specific focus on: - Enterprise: You’ve worked on technical B2B platforms where workflows are the product. You’ve designed for scale, governance and collaboration across teams including permissions, environments, observability and failure modes included and you’re comfortable making deeply complex systems feel coherent and simple. - AI: This team is perfect for designers who've worked on AI tools, agents, or builders and want to push the boundaries of AI-powered automation. You'll define the future of AI-powered workflows. - Growth: We're seeking a designer who thrives on rapid iteration and experimentation. You have experience optimizing onboarding and activation flows, you're motivated by moving metrics, and you excel at testing, learning, and iterating quickly. - Marketplace: This role is ideal for designers experienced with multi-sided platforms (like e-commerce or talent marketplaces) where you balance distinct needs of the supply and demand sides. You'll build something new from the ground up in a brand new team. Our team structure evolves quickly and these team assignments may shift in the coming weeks. 🎯 Regardless of the team your main goal will be to lead end-to-end product design on complex workflows that elevate n8n’s user experience, ship measurable outcomes, and raise the quality bar across our platform. To do so, here are your responsibilities: END-TO-END PRODUCT DESIGN - Lead the full design process for your team, from discovery to polished delivery, collaborating closely with PMs and engineers. - Consistently ship high-quality, visually cohesive designs that improve the overall UX at every release. - Work effectively on complex features with a strong engineering mindset and understanding of the underlying technology. - Take ownership of complex, multi-faceted problems and drive them to completion with initiative and autonomy. RESEARCH, FEEDBACK, AND UX QUALITY - Champion the user by running interviews, usability tests, and research to inform critical product and business decisions. - Master the feedback loop by gathering, synthesizing, and acting on input while giving actionable critique to elevate teammates’ work. - Balance speed and quality in an
