Position Summary The Store Launcher is responsible for the end-to-end execution of new store openings, acquisitions, conversions, and rebranding projects across the Stress Free Auto Care network. This role serves as the operational quarterback from the moment a deal closes until the location is fully launched, staffed, operational, and successfully handed off to the local leadership team. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple projects simultaneously, and is equally comfortable coordinating contractors, assembling furniture, setting up technology, training teams, and solving unexpected on-site problems. This role will support the company’s aggressive growth plans and is expected to oversee the launch of approximately 2–3 locations per month. Key Responsibilities New Store Launch Management Lead all aspects of new store openings, acquisitions, and rebranding projects. Manage launch timelines from key handoff through grand opening. Coordinate launch activities across Operations, Facilities, Marketing, IT, HR, Recruiting, and Training teams. Ensure stores are launched on schedule, within budget, and to company standards. Project Management Serve as the single point of accountability for launch execution. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and milestone tracking. Identify risks and proactively resolve issues that may impact launch schedules. Provide regular status updates to executive leadership. Contractor & Vendor Coordination Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, landlords, and service providers. Coordinate facility improvements, signage installation, painting, equipment installation, and technology deployment. Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards. Store Conversion & Rebranding Oversee the conversion of acquired stores into the Stress Free Auto Care brand. Coordinate installation of branding, fixtures, furniture, technology, customer amenities, and operational systems. Ensure all customer-facing and operational elements meet brand standards prior to launch. Operational Readiness Coordinate inventory, equipment, tooling, and supply deliveries. Verify operational systems are functioning properly, including POS, telephony, networking, security, and software platforms. Support recruiting, onboarding, and training activities leading up to launch. Execute launch checklists and readiness assessments. Launch & Handoff Lead on-site launch activities during opening week. Support local management teams through transition and stabilization. Conduct final readiness reviews and operational audits. Complete formal handoff to District Managers and General Managers. Success Metrics 100% launch completion against approved timelines. Successful opening of 2–3 locations per month. Launch projects completed within budget. Successful transition to operating teams with minimal post-launch disruption. Achievement of brand standards across all launched locations. Positive feedback from Operations, District Managers, and Store Leadership. Qualifications Required 3+ years of project management, operations, construction management, or multi-unit retail/service experience. Must be able to travel up to 75% Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
