Position Overview: The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at MyOme will own the MSL function as the experienced clinical and scientific anchor for our field engagement work. This role is responsible for building and running the systems that connect MyOme to the broader medical and scientific community, including KOL development, field insights, research partnerships, and clinical education. Acting as a bridge between external stakeholders (healthcare providers, researchers, and key opinion leaders) and internal teams (Clinical Affairs, Business Development, Product, Research, and Marketing), the Senior MSL will help drive adoption of MyOme's genomic testing offerings across proactive health, monogenic conditions, and rare disease. Success in this role requires deep grounding in clinical genetic testing, proven experience designing or scaling MSL programs, and the ability to operate with autonomy in an early-stage environment. What You'll Do: Own and grow the MSL function, including KOL identification and engagement plans, field insights frameworks, and the systems needed to capture and share clinician feedback across the organization Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, institutional partners, and potential research collaborators; serve as a clinical liaison to support research engagement and execution Partner with Business Development to support strategic accounts by delivering clinical education, addressing scientific questions, and helping differentiate MyOme's products Document and synthesize field insights, including clinician feedback, market needs, and emerging trends, and translate them into actionable input for product development, clinical strategy, and messaging Contribute to scientific initiatives, including abstracts, presentations, and publications; represent MyOme at scientific meetings and conferences Educate external and internal stakeholders on the clinical utility, advantages, and limitations of MyOme's genomic testing offerings through clear and effective communication Work closely with Marketing to develop educational resources and slide decks tailored for both clinician and patient audiences, ensuring scientific accuracy and clarity Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Affairs, Product, Research, and Marketing to ensure alignment on clinical messaging and a consistent client experience Serve as the internal subject matter expert on MSL practices, mentoring our existing MSL and shaping how the function grows over time What You'll Ne ed: Master's degree or higher in genetic counseling, human genetics, or a related healthcare field; board-certified genetic counselor strongly preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in an MSL or equivalent role, with demonstrated KOL development experience and a track record of leadership within an MSL function. Examples include: (1) building or owning MSL tools, processes, or reporting systems (such as field insights capture, metrics reporting, or KOL planning frameworks), (2) leading advisory boards or other goal-driven external scientific programs, or (3) serving as a peer leader, mentor, or scientific lead within an MSL team Strong grounding in clinical genetic testing and genomics, with working knowledge across proactive health, monogenic conditions, and rare disease applications, limitations, and industry trends Experience in the life sciences industry with clinical genetic testing exposure (not pharma-only background) Experience supporting the introduction of new laboratory tests, particularly in the genetic diagnostics space, strongly preferred Strong
