The Role Corintis is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support the maintenance and improvement of our Python-based projects. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to deepen their programming skills, work with real-world systems, and collaborate with experienced engineers. What You’ll Do: Contribute to the design, development, and testing of our in-house software Maintain and refactor existing Python projects Collaborate closely with fellow engineers Review GitHub issues, communication channels, and usage examples of the open-source packages we depend on. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong attention to detail, with a tendency to dig deep into problems rather than settle for surface-level fixes Knowledge of Git version control system Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms Experience in Python and a statically typed programming language (Java, C#, Rust, GO...) Problem solving skills and willingness to learn Previous contributions to open-source projects are highly appreciated What we offer: Start date: ASAP Activity rate: 100% Salary: 2,500 CHF gross per month Location: On-site at the EPFL Innovation Park, Lausanne.
