ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A at Biofire, you will play a pivotal role in owning and maintaining Biofire's forward-looking financial picture — including the investor model and operational budget model — keeping them always current and accurate. We are looking for someone who is analytically rigorous, operationally curious, and highly autonomous to contribute to our Financial Operations team and help give leadership a real-time, reliable view of the company's financial trajectory. You will need to be a self-driven analytical thinker, who is eager to take full ownership of Biofire's FP&A function and turn financial data into actionable intelligence for decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include: - Own and maintain both the investor model and the operational budget model, ensuring neither is ever more than one week stale with the latest actuals and updated forecast assumptions; - Investigate budget-to-actual variances independently — including going directly to department leads to understand drivers — and surface findings with context and narrative to the CFO; - Build and operate department-level budget vs. actuals dashboards in Abacum so department leads can self-serve their budget position without requesting reports from finance; - Migrate the investor model into Abacum (or equivalent integrated platform) so that both models share a single source of assumptions, eliminating the risk of inconsistent financial stories; - Own the full data pipeline feeding the financial models — including Light, Palantir Foundry, and A
