The Role Crafty is seeking a Business Development Representative who will report directly to our Director of Business Development. The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving Crafty’s growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and turning curiosity into real conversations. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this person will build a prospecting strategy rooted in smart research and thoughtful outreach, then stay consistent and resilient through the realities of outbound. You’ll keep a clean, reliable pipeline in our CRM, communicate clearly across channels, and learn quickly through feedback and coaching. Success in this role comes from pairing strong judgment and organization with a genuine ability to connect, listen, and persist—so we can create a steady flow of qualified opportunities for the team. Required Attributes Prospecting Strategy: Identify, research, and target potential clients in key industries aligned with Crafty's growth strategy. Use a variety of tools and methods, including LinkedIn, CRM databases, and outbound outreach campaigns, to connect with prospects. Resilience: The ability to stay motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and persist through challenges or rejection, adapting to setbacks while continuing to work toward goals with determination. Coachability: Being open to constructive criticism, implementing feedback from peers and leadership, and demonstrating continuous improvement in prospecting, communication, and sales techniques. Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline of leads in the CRM system. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and follow-ups. Effective Communicator: The ability to clearly and persuasively convey information across various channels, actively listen to understand prospects' needs, tailor messaging to different audiences, and build rapport to establish trust and advance opportunities. Ideal Experience 1+ years of professional experience (preferably in a revenue function) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
