Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the country in which the role is being hired. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Mark43’s mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which our first responders rely. Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Platform organization. In this role, you will help shape the systems that power how Mark43 customers and their partners access, integrate with, and extend our products. Your scope will span data access (data lake and partner APIs), integration platforms, and configurable forms and workflow infrastructure. The products you own are foundational to how public safety agencies operationalize their data and how their broader ecosystem of vendors, analytics tools, and downstream systems connects to Mark43. This is a highly execution-focused role. You will partner closely with engineering, design, customers, and partner vendors to drive product development from concept through launch and iteration. You will work alongside Services, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure the platform capabilities you ship translate into successful customer outcomes. What You’ll Do If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week: Owned roadmap execution for one or more platform product areas, including data access (data lake, partner APIs), integration platforms, or forms and workflow infrastructure Partnered with engineering on architecture decisions for APIs, data pipelines, and platform services that need to be scalable, secure, and operable across multiple deployments Worked directly with customer technical stakeholders (data engineers, integration partners, CIOs, CISOs) to translate connectivity, identity, and data access requirements into product direction Defined product requirements for new integration patterns and partner data access workflows, including cloud-native paths (S3, AWS PrivateLink, zero-trust overlays) and SQL or API-based access Drove requirements for configurable forms and field-level data capture capabilities that support customer-specific workflows and regulatory reporting needs Coordinated with Services, Sales, and Customer Success to support launches, partner onboarding, and customer adoption of new platform capabilities Helped define product requirements for AI-enabled automation, including agent-assisted integration tooling and workflow enhancements Balanced delivery of new platform capabilities with the operational work required to keep existing integrations and APIs reliable at scale What You’ll Need We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager with 3 to 6 years of experience shipping technical products end-to-end as an individual contributor, ideally within a fast-moving startup, an integration platform, or a focused platform team inside a larger company. This range is important given the technical depth required, the willingness to own a workstream directly, and the cross-functional coordination needed to deliver platform capabilities that customers and partner vendors both depend on. Proven ability to own and deliver technical product areas end-to-end as an individual contributor, with a strong execution bias Experience shipping platform, API, integration, or data-intensive products in a B2B or enterprise context Working understanding of modern cloud data architectures (data lakes, object storage, SQL engines such as Athena or Databricks), API design, and identity or network connectivity patterns Ability to translate complex customer technical requirements (security, connectivity, data integration) into clear product direction and prioritized execution plans Expe
