Openly is hiring a Sr Manager, Strategic Initiatives to join the Product & Strategy organization. As a member of the Strategic Programs team, this high-impact role will collaborate across all areas of Openly to identify, plan, and execute initiatives critical to shaping the long-term trajectory of Openly. The ideal candidate for this role: Thrives in ambiguity – quickly defining the opportunity and potential solutions Pairs their intellectual curiosity with data fluency to turn strategy into actionable priorities Collaborates effortlessly across all areas of the company including sales, service, claims, marketing, insurance product, finance, and technology Communicates effectively across all levels of the company – from senior leadership to their peers – to drive alignment and influence without authority Has a passion for driving progress and delivering results Responsibilities: Drive intricate and time-critical projects by gathering context, identifying impacts from around the organization, and developing a framework that guides a prioritized approach for resolution Cultivate cross-functional partnerships across the organization to proactively identify operational opportunities and define solutions to deliver value Support setting and tracking KPIs and performance trends, providing the data-driven insights necessary to help project teams turn goals into actionable tasks Manage end-to-end special projects across a wide range of topics Employ market research and competitive intelligence to inform areas of opportunity and bolster business cases Proactively push process improvements to drive scalable operations and partner across teams to successfully implement Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance (home and/or auto) experience required, ideally with a focus on strategy and analytics Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills Highly-motivated, resourceful, and inquisitive with a ‘roll-up your sleeves’ mentality to drive progress towards results History of building relationships across teams to define impacts of new initiatives on operational processes A proven track recor
