Senior Producer (Interpretation)

Scopely is looking for a Senior Producer to join the Slate Development Group team in Shanghai. Slate Development Group owns Scopely’s editorial and content strategy, including the company’s greenlighting, Game Development Framework (GDF), studio strategy (organic and inorganic) and slate-wide budget and investment strategy. What you will do As a Senior Producer , you will collaborate with internal and external teams to manage the strategy for developing production for a portion of Scopely’s new game development portfolio to help us have the best chance of a breakout success. Bilingual Translation & Interpretation: Act as the key liaison between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking teams, ensuring seamless communication. Provide both translation and interpretation for meetings, documentation, presentations, etc. Project Management : Drive task prioritization and milestone tracking to keep the project on schedule and within scope Cross-Team Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with external partners, including dev team, localization teams, and marketing teams, etc. Process Optimization: Continuously improve processes, optimizing workflows for mobile-first development and cross-platform expansion. Risk Management: Identify risks and bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions. What will you need: At least 8 years of translation & production experience in the video game industry Understanding the content production process of mobile game development Expert level in both Chinese and English (spoken & written) translation & interpretation Experience working with external development partners or remote teams Strong experience in project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Confluence, etc.) and agile development methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
