Who You Are You are a detailed-oriented, analytically minded, tech-savvy professional who is excited about supporting the growth of independent primary care. You enjoy digging into data, researching markets, and building structured target materials that drive business efforts. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do manual, detail-oriented work to deeply understand processes, then proactively build systems and automations to scale and streamline that work over time. You are curious, organized, and motivated to learn how value-based care, provider partnerships, and payor strategy come together to grow a healthcare business. Who We Are Oasis Health Partners (Oasis) is an all‑in‑one partner for independent primary care practices. We focus on Medicare value‑based care programs (Medicare Advantage and MSSP) and surround them with practical support so they can deliver better care while building durable, independent practices. Our model helps physicians spend more time on proactive, high‑value care for seniors, while Oasis brings the data, tools, and team to support them behind the scenes. We’ve built a fast‑growing network of independent PCPs and IPAs and are still early in our growth story. Backed by leading healthcare investors (GV and Triple Aim Partners), we are scaling into new markets and expanding our suite of provider solutions. We are committed to keeping the practice of independent medicine alive, and we are looking for people who want to build that future with us. Your Role The Business Development & Payor Strategy Associate helps drive Oasis’s growth by building the data, systems, and workflows that power our business development and payor strategy efforts. You will start by rolling up your sleeves - conducting research, building target lists, and supporting contracting and outreach workflows manually to develop a deep understanding of how the business operates. From there, you will take ownership of improving and scaling that work by identifying inefficiencies and building systems, automations, and structured processes that reduce manual effort and increase output. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work closely with business development, payor strategy, contracting, operations, and market leadership teams. Your goal is not just to support these functions, but to make them more effective and scalable over time. Success in this role is measured by the quality of insights, strength of target pipelines, and your ability to turn repetitive, time-consuming work into efficient, system-driven processes that enable faster practice acquisition and market growth. What You'll Do Market Research and Targeting Start by manually gathering and analyzing data on independent primary care practices, then build automated, scalable systems that continuously generate actionable insights for practice acquisition Turn insights into clear, practical recommendations that get buy-in from business development leads and help them confidently engage practices in the field Build and analyze large datasets to identify high-priority provider targets based on geography, payor mix, patient demographics, and strategic fit Build initial target lists manually, then evolve them into dynamic, automated systems that stay current with minimal ongoing effort Track market dynamics, including competitor presence and payor landscapes Business Development Support Support the BD team in pipeline development, including lead generation and CRM management Own outreach tracking and CRM hygiene, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate these workflows over time Prepare background materials and insights ahead of provider meetings Help maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and next steps Assist with outreach coordination (email campaigns, follow-ups, event prep) Contracting and Payor Strategy Support Assist with provider and payor contracting workflows, including document tracking and coordination across teams Research and
