THE JOB As the Executive Assistant & Office Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our Detroit headquarters and a critical partner to our leadership team. You will ensure our executives are focused on high-impact work by managing complex schedules, while simultaneously creating a world-class office environment that embodies the Signal culture for our local and visiting team members and our customers. You will act as the connective tissue of the organization, ensuring that the trains are running on time and managing our physical space and executive team schedules with strong attention to detail. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO Executive Support: Manage complex, ever-shifting calendars for key executives, prioritizing meetings with a high level of awareness of business needs. Office Stewardship: Own the day-to-day operations of our Detroit office, including vendor management, supply procurement, and ensuring the space is always client-ready. Travel & Logistics: Coordinate seamless travel arrangements and detailed itineraries for executives and visiting team members. Culture & Events: Partner on the execution of team-building events, local office lunches, and assist with other internal and external events. Special Projects: Take ownership of administrative projects, from internal communications to document preparation. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN TEAM MEMBERS The "Inches" Mentality - You notice the small things, like a dying office plant, a typo in a memo, or a scheduling conflict, and fix them before they become issues. Adaptability - You are flexible and adaptable to changes needs, last minute pivots, and a dynamic environment. WHAT YOU HAVE Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar administrative role in a fast-growing company. High proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides) and Slack. Strong organizational skills with a "measure twice, cut once" approach to logistics. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can distill complex plans into simple updates. The ability to be in-office 5 days a week to maintain our physical office.
