Your Impact As a Professional Services Manager (PSM) supporting Axon's Vehicle Intelligence (VI) solutions, you will serve as a technical deployment expert responsible for delivering successful Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) trials and pilot programs for public safety agencies across the United States. This is a customer-facing, field-based role focused on the installation, configuration, validation, and support of Axon's Vehicle Intelligence technologies. You will work directly with law enforcement agencies, technical stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure customers experience the full value of Axon's ALPR solutions through exceptional technical execution and customer enablement. You will play a critical role in helping agencies evaluate Vehicle Intelligence technology while providing valuable feedback that helps shape the future of Axon's products and deployment processes. What You’ll Do Location: Remote in the US Travel: 100% Reports to: Senior Manager, Professional Services Install, configure, validate, and support Axon's Vehicle Intelligence and ALPR technologies during customer trials, pilots, and deployment activities. Serve as the onsite technical lead for Vehicle Intelligence evaluations, ensuring successful implementation and operation of all trial equipment. Conduct customer onboarding and technical training for agency administrators, technical contacts, and end users. Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, cellular connectivity, and system integration issues in field environments. Validate system performance and ensure trial environments meet established technical requirements and success criteria. Collaborate closely with Professional Services Managers, Solutions Engineers, Sales teams, and Customer Success teams to support successful customer evaluations. Create and maintain accurate deployment documentation, site assessments, network diagrams, installation records, and post-trial reports. Engage directly with technical and operational stakeholders including Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs, Command Staff, IT Directors, Real Time Crime Center personnel, and program managers. Identify and escalate product issues, enhancement opportunities, and customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams. Provide recommendations that improve deployment quality, customer experience, and operational scalability. Support the evolution of Axon's Vehicle Intelligence deployment processes and best practices. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Bring 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, supporting, or administering technology solutions in public safety, transportation, physical security, or related industries. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) systems. Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting fixed-position ALPR camera systems. Strong troubleshooting skills involving networking, cellular communications, hardware, software, and field-installed technology systems. Experience working directly with public safety agencies and understanding law enforcement operational workflows. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced field environments. Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
