ABOUT THE ROLE G2 is looking for a Data Scientist who will play a key part in developing complex data-driven solutions and deploying impactful data products. You will collaborate with a team focused on building advanced forecasting models, customer segmentations, recommendation engines, and specialised algorithms that drive business outcomes. You will proactively identify new opportunities to apply data science to enhance performance across a dynamic, two-sided digital marketplace with an auction-based pricing model. This environment offers extensive scope to experiment, innovate, and create meaningful impact using data. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Design models and run simulations to help understand and predict bidding/auction dynamics. - Identify opportunities to apply predictive models to improve the vendor experience and support their software buying journey. - Employ supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to support analytic objectives. - Develop data-processing and technical workflows for delivery of data-driven vendor experiences. - Use advanced statistical techniques to fine-tune models and improve business processes. - Partner with the client support team and provide them with insight necessary to successfully manage the relationship with software vendors. - Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams to execute the data science roadmap. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times.
