Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you'll operate as a direct peer to PM and Engineering, bringing user evidence, strategic thinking, and a strong point of view to product decisions. You'll own the second half of product management: translating strategy into requirements, managing project timelines, coordinating with engineering, and driving features from concept to launch. Your work will directly influence activation, retention, and the quality of the AI-assisted creation experience millions of creators depend on. What you'll do - Own product outcomes end-to-end: Take full ownership from problem framing and research through shipping, measurement, and iteration - Lead design of complex features: Design sophisticated product features with high visual craft and strategic product thinking - Raise the craft bar: Hold a high quality standard in visual and interaction design, elevating it through critique and pairing with peers - Manage the build: Coordinate with engineering, ensure quality throughout development, and own go-to-market readiness - Build reusable patterns: Contribute to Kittl's evolving design process, designing system and emerging AI patterns What you'll need - Experience: Minimum 6 years designing digital products, with at least 2 years shipping consumer or prosumer products at scale - Portfolio: Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership including research, interaction design, visual craft, product thinking, and measurable impact of shipped work - Product ownership readiness: Demonstrated ability or clear readiness to step into product management responsibilities - managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders - AI design experience: Hands-on experience designing for AI-driven or generative product surfaces, with focus on embedding AI for genuine user value - Principled decision-making: Balances user needs, product constraints, and strategic direction to find the best feasible path forward through thoughtful compromise and clear decision-making - Bias for action: High quality bar combined with speed, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to step beyond pure design into product ownership and execution Interview process - Recruiter interview (30 min) - Hiring manager interview with Head of Product Design (60 min) - Live design exercise with Head of Product Design & Senior Product Designer (90 min) - Leadership interview with Co-founder & CPO (45 min) - Bar raiser interview with Chief of Staff (45 min) We are looking for someone - Exceptionally driven to drive impact and challenge the status quo - Who takes extreme ownership & gets things done - Who goes above and beyond in their role - Who is deeply passionate about what they do Benefits - Maximise your impact: No matter if you’re leading a team or you stand out by your domain expertise - all we care about is supporting you to maximise your own impact - Hackathons: Our quarterly hackathons provide an environment to experiment with new concepts, push boundaries, and potentially deliver the next big thing. - Kittl Week: Each year, our global team gathers together for a whole week, to work, celebrate, get inspired, and have fun - Flexible working hours: Our core hours are 11am–5pm
