At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers. We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in: We’re hiring a Product Manager in Budapest to join the Parchment by Instructure team - the fastest-growing part of the Instructure portfolio. Parchment connects learners to opportunities through the leading platform for trusted credentials. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Digitary R&D team, based in Australia and Dublin, to strengthen the Digitary platform and shape its next chapter. This is a role for someone who thrives on collaboration, sweats the details of success measures, and obsesses over customers and users. If you’re driven to deliver outcomes rather than outputs, and if you’re excited by both execution and invention, we’d love to hear from you. About the team and what you’ll own. You’ll own product direction for Digitary, which is a global trust network where universities, employers and learners deliver and verify credentials daily. Digitary straddles global compliance responsibilities, security, encryption, fraud mitigation and integrations with thousands of education institutions. In this role, you will be working alongside engineering leads, and partnering with other Parchment PMs and key stakeholders to bring improvements to the market. Expect quarterly travel for team onsites and customer visits. What you’ll be doing. - Form a clear point of view on what your product area needs to achieve this quarter and this year. Build a well-reasoned case for why and how to get there. - Carry accountability for product outcomes, from what you’re building and why it’s the right investment to what you’ve shipped and how it’s performing. - Build and measure iteratively. Ship in increments and use success metrics to decide what’s next. - Use customer insights and market intelligence to form a point of view on where the credentialing market is headed, then pressure-test your roadmap against it. - Collaborate relentlessly with other product managers, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ship new value quickly. - Operate independently. Run your product area without regular guidance from leadership, and resolve blockers before they become escalations. - Use AI-powered workflows to speed up validation and discovery. - Raise the bar around you. Model strong product thinking, coach newer PMs, and give honest feedback to cross-functional partners when the work isn’t at the right level. What success looks like in your first year. - The Digitary platform has measurably improved on the success metrics you and your engineering partners commit to (we’ll define these together). - You’ve established a working rhythm with the R&D teams that lets you ship at pace despite the time difference. - You’ve shipped at least one significant improvement to the Digitary platform that results in revenue, retention and/or engagement growth. - You’ve built the customer relationships and market intelligence to credibly own this area’s strategy. What you’ll need. - Five or more years in a product role, ideally in B2B SaaS. - Experience shipping products across multiple countries or regions, with an understanding of how regulatory and cultural differences shape product decisions. - Demonstrated ownership of product outcomes, not just outputs. - Strong judgment about when to move fast and when to slow down. - Comfort building with AI in your day-to-day workflow. - Comfort with product analytics tools like Pendo, Amplitude, or similar. - Clear communication at all altitudes. You can communicate effectively with customers, peers, executives and explain a complex tradeoff in a paragraph. - A bias toward action and comfo
