Executive Assistant

Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society. We’re looking for a thoughtful, proactive Executive Assistant to support a senior leader operating at the center of high-impact, cross-functional work. A portion of this leader’s work will be launching a major national campaign and 10-year initiative during America’s 250th anniversary this year. You’ll serve as a trusted partner, owning priorities, anticipating needs, and ensuring the leader’s time and focus are aligned to what matters most. This leader works closely with senior leadership and key external partners, placing you at the intersection of strategy, execution, and influence. In addition to primary support, you’ll provide light, coordinated support to other leaders contributing to a fast-paced, evolving campaign and related workstreams. This role is ideal for someone who connects details to a larger purpose, thinks several steps ahead, and thrives in a collaborative, high-expectation environment. You’re energized by helping others succeed, skilled at navigating complexity, and motivated by contributing to work with meaningful societal impact. The role will be based in-person in the Ballston, VA office.
