We currently operate multiple elementary and middle schools across the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens, and plan to open 1–2 new schools each year – because children in every community deserve excellent, equitable education. Deliver powerful results To achieve our vision, we are searching for an Algebra II Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree (math or science degree preferred), and at least 1-2+ years of lead teaching experience (NY certification preferred), with a proven record of propelling extraordinary student growth. Responsibilities: Implement inquiry-driven, problem-based lessons that challenge students to think mathematically, reason logically, and apply algebraic concepts to real-world contexts. Demonstrate deep expertise in high school mathematics , guiding students to mastery in Algebra II—connecting abstract concepts to visual models, data, and everyday applications. Build a classroom culture where precision, perseverance, and curiosity thrive—and where students approach challenges with confidence and joy. Serve as an Advisor to a small cohort of students, developing meaningful relationships with families and supporting each student’s academic and personal growth. Collaborate with colleagues to co-create a rigorous, joyful founding high school environment rooted in Zeta’s mission and values. Use data, feedback, and student work to analyze mastery patterns and refine instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $115,500. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary closer to the beginning of the range, depending on relevant experience, certification status, and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. Zeta offers a relocation reimbursement of up to $2,500 for eligible Teachers relocating to join our school community. How
