Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) - Remote 1099 Contract, $75-$90/Session

Our clinicians enjoy the stability of consistent referrals and a meaningful caseload, allowing you to focus on what matters most: making a real difference in students' lives. We're seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to students ages 11-24 throughout California. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside schools, families, and community partners to help students thrive. Please note: This role is open to therapists who are fully licensed in California only; associate and provisionally licensed therapists are not eligible. Two Ways to Join Daybreak We offer flexibility to fit your career goals. Most of our clinicians choose the 1099 Independent Contractor model for the flexibility and earning potential. For clinicians who want traditional benefits, we also offer a W-2 pathway for those who consistently complete 17+ sessions per week. Option 1: 1099 Independent Contractor (Most Popular) Our new tiered pay structure rewards clinicians who want to grow their caseload, with no cap on your earnings: 💵 $75–$90 per session , based on weekly caseload volume ✅ Paid intake assessments ✅ Paid no-shows and late cancellations ✅ Bilingual session differential ✅ $340 paid onboarding training stipend ✅ Free continuing education credits year-round ✅ Malpractice insurance included ✅ Biweekly pay — Daybreak handles all billing ✅ Flexible caseload: Start with just 5 sessions per week, see as many clients as you'd like The more clients you see, the more you earn. A clinician seeing 20+ sessions per week can build a meaningful income stream without the administrative burden of running a private practice.
