Desktop Publishing Specialist - DTP (Adobe InDesign) | Contract – 3 Months)

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced Desktop Publishing Specialist (Adobe InDesign) for a 3-month contractual role to support our content production workflows. The role will focus on typesetting, layout creation, and document formatting across multiple formats. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform typesetting and layout design using Adobe InDesign - Format and structure content for: - Books / eBooks - Reports & whitepapers - Marketing materials (brochures, flyers, PDFs) - Ensure consistent typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy - Work with existing templates and create layouts when needed - Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files (PDF, EPUB, etc.) - Handle revisions and feedback with quick turnaround - Collaborate with internal teams for content and design alignment REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS - Strong hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign - Solid understanding of: - Typography and layout principles - Paragraph, character, and object styles - Master pages and long document formatting - Experience handling large documents (100+ pages preferred) - Familiarity with print production basics (bleed, margins, color formats) - Ability to manage tight deadlines with high attention to detail GOOD TO HAVE - Experience with multi-language typesetting (Indian languages preferred) - Familiarity with EPUB or digital publishing workflows CONTRACT DETAILS - Duration: 3 Months - Type: Contractual / Freelance - Location: Remote / Hybrid - Start Date: Immediate / Within 1–2 weeks
