Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients. About the Role Dandy is seeking an experienced Director / Senior Director of Tax who will play a critical role in building and scaling the company’s global tax function during a period of rapid international expansion. This role will own and drive Dandy’s worldwide tax strategy across indirect tax, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, international structuring, and global compliance as the company continues to expand its international footprint. You’ll be joining at a highly strategic moment as Dandy scales cross-border operations, launches in new international markets, and builds the infrastructure required to support a future public company. This role will serve as both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator — partnering closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and external advisors to design scalable tax structures while also executing against the operational realities of a fast-growing global business. A core focus of this role will be navigating complex international indirect tax and transfer pricing challenges across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across VAT/GST, sales tax, transfer pricing, international corporate tax planning, and cross-border operational flows, with substantial experience operating in multinational environments. We’re looking for a self-starter with exceptional technical depth, strong business judgment, and a builder’s mindset who can proactively identify tax risks and opportunities in a fast-moving environment. This role requires someone who can operate effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels — from helping shape long-term global tax strategy and supporting future Audit Committee discussions to managing registrations, filings, documentation, and operational tax execution. What You’ll Do - Own and lead Dandy’s global tax strategy across indirect tax, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and international tax planning. - Design and implement scalable tax structures to support rapid international expansion while optimizing the company’s global effective tax rate and minimizing tax risk. - Lead all aspects of indirect tax strategy and compliance, including VAT, GST, sales tax, digital services taxes, and related international consumption tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. - Partner closely with Product, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance teams to assess the tax implications of new products, pricing models, operational flows, legal entities, and geographic expansion initiatives. - Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across global operations. - Oversee global tax compliance processes, including corporate income tax filings, indirect tax filings, registrations, estimated payments, audits, and statutory reporting obligations. - Coordinate and manage external tax advisors, consultants, and service providers globally, ensuring high-quality execution, timely deliverables, and alignment with Dandy’s business objectives. - Act as the primary internal tax business partner and conduit between external advisors and internal stakeholders, ensuring tax considerations are embedded into operational and strategic decision-making. - Support the development of tax accounting processes, quarterly tax provision support, and documentation necessary to meet public-company readiness standard
