Associate Client Portfolio Manager Ebury Canada - Vancouver - office based Compensation: $80,000 base salary + commission (OTE of up to $130K+) We are looking for an Associate Client Portfolio Manager in our Vancouver Office, with proven dealing, trading and account management experience. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients taking responsibility for trading account set up, relationship management and deal execution. Our CPMs offer expert and bespoke suggestions and ideas to our clients, providing them with strategies to minimise their FX risk challenges. They plan, structure and execute deals, giving our clients the best value while contributing to Ebury’s growth. Our best CPMs go on to head up and train dealing teams, making sure the next generation of Dealers are inspired, motivated and proficient in their roles. What you’ll do as an Associate Client Portfolio Manager Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management. You’ll upsell Ebury’s broad product capabilities, ensuring a best-in-class client proposition. Collaborate with a large, successful sales team to assist in business origination. Understand clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation using Ebury's large product suite. Know and understand the competition's capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury’s Banking solutions. Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling cross-selling multiple relevant products and increasing wallet-share. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through client meetings, confidently and professionally presenting ideas, proposals, and updates to clients. Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers. Originate new business via networking with existing clients for business referrals. What you’ll need Strong Financial Services experience in a sales or relationship management role. An established network of contacts is a distinct advantage. Experience of working in an established FX institution and/or commercial bank, or selling other financial instruments to SMEs and corporate clients Solid understanding of relevant compliance requirements. Colleague or university degree (BA or BSc) and Business or Finance background is a plus Exceptional communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in. Sophisticated technical ability; statistical/fundamental analysis & risk management practices Proven record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition) Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
