Position Summary: The Environmental Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, performing, and coordinating activities to ensure compliance with the company’s environmental policy, regulatory requirements, and ISO 14001 certification. This role will also provide technical guidance, training, and support to promote environmental stewardship and compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Maintain compliance documentation; review, update, and revise environmental documentation annually. Manage environmental record-keeping systems to ensure compliance with regulatory retention requirements. Perform environmental audits and inspect facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards and ensure compliance with environmental standards. Provide technical assistance, coaching, and mentoring to employees on environmental initiatives and compliance requirements. Communicate issues regarding non-conformance to HS&E leadership in line with established policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on existing and proposed processes/equipment; propose compliant solutions. Conduct and/or coordinate training sessions on environmental regulations, ISO 14001 standards, and related compliance programs. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental performance and compliance. Work in conditions occasionally involving extreme heat and moderate noise levels while adhering to safety requirements (safety glasses and steel-toed boots). Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred) or an accredited environmental certification. Certification: OSHA 30 General Industry required. 2–3 years of related experience in environmental compliance or a similar role. Solid understanding of ISO 14001 standards . Familiarity with OSHA standards preferred. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of EPA processes and requirements . Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Occasional exposure to extreme heat and moderate noise levels. Safety PPE required: safety glasses and steel-toed boots The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 –$90,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
