Role Summary We are creating a brand new Senior Director, Revenue Technology & Innovation role sitting at the intersection of commercial ambition and technical execution. This is not a traditional engineering leadership position — it is a force-multiplier role that functions as the de facto CTO for Pinterest's Global Business Organization. As we accelerate our advertising and commerce trajectory, we are establishing a high-velocity, autonomous Revenue Technology function embedded directly within the Business org. You will build and lead this function from the ground up — recruiting exceptional talent, deploying applied AI to transform our sales motion, and architecting technical solutions that directly unlock revenue. When a strategic partnership is stalled by an integration gap, your team builds the bridge. When a manual bottleneck slows our Go-to-Market motion, your team deploys the automation that eliminates it. What you'll do: Build & Lead a World-Class Revenue Technology Team Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, cross-functional team of Solution Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Sales Tooling Specialists structured for rapid prototyping and high-impact delivery Design and evolve the team's operating model, org structure, and culture — instilling a Builder-Strategist mindset that prioritizes velocity, ownership, and commercial outcomes Manage a dynamic portfolio of high-impact initiatives, ruthlessly prioritizing based on revenue potential and strategic urgency Implement a fast-track development lifecycle distinct from core R&D cadence, focused on MVP delivery, rapid iteration, and measurable business results Drive Strategic Partner Integrations & Solution Engineering Serve as the senior technical authority in high-stakes partner engagements across Commerce, AdTech, and Agency ecosystems — translating complex business requirements into actionable integration strategies Design and oversee the development of bespoke APIs, middleware, and data connectors that allow strategic partners to integrate directly into Pinterest's ecosystem when standard solutions fall short Act as the primary liaison between the Global Business Organization and Core Engineering, ensuring custom solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Pinterest's long-term architectural vision Deploy Applied AI Across the Revenue Organization Move beyond the AI hype curve to implement practical, high-ROI automation across the sales and GTM stack — including automated RFP generation, predictive lead scoring, intelligent account routing, and advertiser ROI modeling Treat the Global Business Organization as your interna
