About the Position Bluefish is seeking an exceptional product leader with the rare ability to own every aspect of the product lifecycle — from high-level strategy to detailed execution — while building and leading a world-class product organization. The VP of Product will set the vision and direction for our entire product portfolio, serving as both a strategic executive and a hands-on leader who can inspire a team while rolling up their sleeves when it matters. This role spans all levels of leadership — from defining broad product vision and company strategy to developing detailed specs and guiding implementation. As both a strategic driver and an empowering manager, you will be the executive force behind our product's success, responsible for aligning the organization around customer needs and ensuring we're building the right solutions to solve real problems at scale. You must be comfortable operating at the executive level while remaining grounded in product craft — engaging directly with the board and leadership on strategy, while also diving deep with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. You will thrive navigating an ambiguous and rapidly evolving AI marketing landscape, and you know how to build and scale a product organization from an early stage. The ideal candidate has experience scaling products and teams in both startup and enterprise environments, is deeply customer-oriented, and is motivated by the challenge of building something category-defining from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing Define and champion a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap that aligns with company strategy, market opportunity, and customer needs — and rally the organization around it. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product team, establishing best practices, processes, and a culture of customer obsession and rigorous execution. Own and drive end-to-end product strategy across the full portfolio, ensuring each initiative has a clear vision, measurable outcomes, and cross-functional alignment. Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to company strategy, fundraising narratives, board communications, and organizational decisions. Spot macro trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, and translate insights into differentiated product strategies that position Bluefish as a market leader. Apply rigor to deeply understand customer needs and pain points at scale. Identify and prioritize features and bets that deliver maximum value and create sustainable competitive advantage. Drive seamless collaboration and alignment across leadership, engineering, design, sales, and customer success — ensuring the product organization is a force multiplier for the entire company. Define and monitor product success metrics, evaluate ROI, and create accountability frameworks that connect product outcomes to business results. Represent the product externally — with key customers, partners, analysts, and the press — as a credible and inspiring spokesperson for Bluefish's vision. Qualifications 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a VP or senior product leadership role, with a mix of startup and enterprise environments preferred. Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing product teams, including hiring, developing, and retaining top product talent. Proven 0-to-1 product experience, including defining a product from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and driving successful first launches. Demonstrated success launching and scaling SaaS products, with experience in AI-driven or marketing technology platforms strongly preferred. Executive presence and communication skills — ability to influence the board, inspire the company, align cross-functional leaders, and build confidence with customers and partners. Strong technical acumen — comfortable working closely with engineers, understanding system architecture, and making sound build/buy/partner decisions. Exceptional analytical skills
