Job Overview: The Public Relations Manager I, APAC will sit on the global communications team and report to the APAC PR Lead. The role is fully-remote and India-based. The communications team is responsible for telling the story of how Coursera is shaping the future of work and education, and transforming lives through access to high-quality, job-relevant education. The team is a nimble, high-impact, and globally-distributed group that works with key business stakeholders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to tell the right stories to the right audiences at the right time. We’re looking for a mission-driven communications professional to support our APAC business including B2C, university and industry partnerships, and degrees and enterprise, with a focus on India, Singapore, Indonesia, the Phillipines, Thailand and other relevant markets. You’ll help craft media strategies that showcase Coursera as a top destination to help institutions lead skills development and for individuals to earn high-quality credentials. Coursera offers three solutions dedicated to each institution — Coursera for Business, Coursera for Governments, and Coursera for Campus. Together they convene an ecosystem of institutions to build a framework for lifelong learning that reaches people at every stage of civic life — during their studies, during their careers, and any point in between. You’ll work closely with cross-functional counterparts in marketing, public policy, customer success, sales and legal to support new announcements and launches.
