ACCOUNTANT LOCATION: PUNE, INDIA (WORKING ONSITE 4-5 DAYS A WEEK) POSITION SUMMARY As an Accountant at HackerOne, you will support our global finance operations with a focus on month-end close activities while collaborating closely with teams in the US and UK. You play a key role in accruals, prepaid expenses and operational workflows as the accounting function continues to scale. This role will be required to work US EST hours in order to timely support our global team. In this role, you will help scale reliable, compliant financial processes that support HackerOne’s growth and mission. You will gain hands-on experience in a SaaS environment, work with best-in-class finance systems, and contribute to the operational excellence that enables our teams to focus on securing the internet. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Deliver accurate and timely month-end, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis, applying Data-Driven Decision Making to identify variances and improve financial accuracy - Own key balance sheet areas (accruals, prepaids, cash, and other accounts), ensuring completeness and accuracy through First Principles Problem Solving to simplify and strengthen accounting processes - Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in compliance with GAAP - Support global accounting operations including accounts
