Your Role As a (Senior) Legal Counsel, you will take ownership of legal topics that shape the company’s growth and day-to-day operations. You will work across commercial, corporate, compliance, and regulatory areas, supporting a fast-scaling business with pragmatic, business-oriented legal guidance. You will join a small, collaborative, and international legal team, working closely with the VP Legal & General Counsel and cross-functional stakeholders across the business. Depending on your experience, you will either take full ownership of topics end-to-end or further develop into this level of responsibility with support from the team. Your Impact Advise on a range of legal matters, with a primary focus on commercial topics and exposure to corporate, compliance, and regulatory areas Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners, independently or with support depending on complexity and experience Support cross-functional initiatives by embedding legal thinking into business decisions and processes Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks through practical, scalable approaches Contribute to broader legal topics such as compliance, governance, or M&A activities where relevant Your Skills Qualified to practice law in Germany (2. Juristisches Staatsexamen with befriedigend or better), the United States (admitted to a state bar), or England & Wales (Solicitor qualification) Proven experience handling commercial contracts in a B2B environment, with the ability to manage negotiations with a good degree of autonomy Solid commercial judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives Experience working across multiple topics or projects, ideally in a cross-functional environment Clear and effective communicator, able to translate legal concepts into practical guidance for business stakeholders
