PandaDoc is looking for a Director of Product Marketing who's ready to own the function: strategy, team, narrative, and all. This isn't a "manage the roadmap and write the launch brief" role. You'll shape how PandaDoc shows up in the market as we build toward an AI-powered, agentic future, and you'll do it by being deeply embedded with Product, Sales, and Marketing.. Our PMMs work across the full product lifecycle: from influencing what we build, to taking it to market, to driving adoption across our customer base. You operate AI-first, not as a talking point, but as how you actually work. You bring sharp instincts, a bias for action, and the kind of cross-functional credibility that moves teams without requiring authority. This is a fully remote, US-based role reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing. Responsibilities: Build and lead a world-class PMM team. You'll manage, coach, and develop a group of high-performing PMMs — setting the bar for what great looks like and creating real runway for their growth. Define where we play and how we win. You'll set TAM, sharpen our target markets, and develop go-to-market strategies that connect directly to pipeline and revenue. Every initiative ties back to a business outcome. Own our narrative. You'll craft and continuously sharpen PandaDoc's messaging and positioning, including how we show up in the market on AI-powered capabilities and the emerging agentic workflow category. This is the work that makes us win in competitive deals. Operate AI-first, always. You'll use AI tools natively across research synthesis, competitive analysis, content creation, and launch planning, and set the standard for how the entire PMM team works. If you're not already doing this, this isn't the role for you. Be the voice of the customer. You'll engage directly with customers and prospects, champion what they need in our roadmap and brand, and build the PMM team into a customer intelligence engine the whole company relies on. Partner deeply with Product. You'll be in the room shaping roadmap decisions, not just reacting to them. That means deep product fluency, a point of view on where we invest, and the ability to translate complex capabilities into crisp, compelling launches. Create content that converts. You'll partner with Brand Marketing to build a content strategy that works across the full buyer journey — from first touch to closed-won — online and offline. Arm Sales and CX to win. You'll equip our sales teams with messaging, competitive tools, and enablement materials that directly improve win rates, sales velocity, and ACV. You'll measure what moves the needle and iterate fast. Enable our partner ecosystem. You'll make sure our partners and channels have everything they need — materials, training, positioning — to sell PandaDoc confidently and effectively. You’ll have: 8+ years in marketing, with at least 5 in B2B SaaS product marketing including experience leading a PMM team, not just being a great individual contributor. Track record marketing AI-powered products. You know how to take evolving AI capabilities and make them land with both technical and non-technical buyers. You can write messaging that's compelling without being hype-y. AI tools in your daily workflow. LLMs, research tools, content generation. You're not experimenting with these, you're using them to go faster and think sharper every day. Sharp messaging instincts. You've built positioning platforms that actually changed how sales sold and how customers bought. You know the difference between features and value, and you never let the two get confused. Strong data fluency. You set measurable goals, track them honestly, and use what you learn to make better decisions. You're comfortable in analytics tools and you know which numbers actually matter. Cross-functional credibility. You've influenced product roadmaps without owning them. You've moved sales teams without managing them. You know how to build alignment through insight
