This role plays a key part in driving food safety, quality excellence, and operational compliance across the Distribution Centre. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, the role is focused on maximising the quality of incoming raw materials, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing quality-related errors throughout the supply chain. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to improve inbounding accuracy, strengthen FEFO management, and enhance overall quality compliance, while ensuring food products consistently meet regulatory and food safety standards. Alongside maintaining high operational standards, the role will also support continuous improvement projects, promote a strong quality culture, and contribute to company-wide OKR targets and business goals. What You Will Be Doing: Overall accountability for implementing the HelloFresh Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management System within the Distribution Centre Drive a strong food safety culture by improving engagement, awareness, and understanding of food safety and quality standards Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners, including conducting internal audits and GMP inspections Coordinate customer complaint investigations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective resolution and close-out Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement teams on strategic projects and quality initiatives Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a BRCGS-compliant Quality Management System Achieve and maintain BRCGS Storage and Distribution Version 4 certification for the site Manage quarantine areas effectively and coordinate stock movement based on quality decisions Identify, lead, and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations Carry out basic problem-solving activities and escalate issues to the Technical Quality Lead or Technical Manager where required Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Coordinate service and support functions to ensure smooth operational performance Conduct audits and follow up on corrective actions related to Food Safety, Health & Safety, BRCGS, ISO, and other compliance standards Who You Are: Degree qualified in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline Proven experience in a Raw Materials Technologist role or a similar quality-focused position within the food industry Strong understanding of food safety regulations, raw material quality standards, and supplier management practices Familiar with HACCP principles, GMP, BRCGS, and ISO standards Proficient in G-Suite and confident using systems and data to support decision-making An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making Organised, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment What we offer: The chance to have a serious impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe in an exciting growth phase Direct, high impact on our Operations setup from day one A vibrant, international environment with mission-driven colleagues A guaranteed steep learning curve & boost for your career Benefit from our selection of employee perks (70% off your HelloFresh boxes, private health insurance, employer matching pension program, cycle to work scheme, Mental health first aiders and an employee assistance programme, gym membership etc.) Location : St. Margaret’s, Co.Dublin, K67 P7E5 To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have the independent right to work in Ireland, as we're unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
