At GALVANY, our goal is to make climate-neutral living a reality for everyone. We focus on execution – developing concrete, smart solutions and making heat pumps, battery storage, and smart metering easy to access, reliable, and affordable. GALVANY-Tech drives the energy transition through software. We're building an AI-based Operating System for sales, planning, installation and operation of heat pumps and integrated energy systems – from single-family homes to multi-unit buildings, and across our Energy Community as a Virtual Power Plant. We are a profitable green-tech startup and believe that sustainable impact and long-term growth are only possible when grounded in a healthy business model. To implement our ambitious tech roadmap, we secured €10 million in seed funding from Set Ventures and AENU in the spring 2026. Driven by customer value, clarity, and responsibility, we stand for high-quality heating solutions and an environment where people take responsibility and drive lasting impact. THE ROLE As Product Manager (m/w/d) in our Venture Products team, you drive new topics that emerge at the edge of our existing roadmap. Venture Products is GALVANY's speedboat taskforce inside Tech: a small, agile team that incubates new themes in short cycles and integrates them into the line organization once they are viable. You will not stay the long-term owner – you build, validate, hand over, and move on to the next speedboat. Responsibilities: - Own the Incubate phase end-to-end: gather input from Tech Teams and from other stakeholder departments, consolidate it into a clear product hypothesis, and ship the first functional cut. - Formulate sharp hypotheses and validate them with small, fast experiments – tolerate ambiguity and turn it into clarity. - Act as the central cross-functional hub – bring tech and the rest of the company into alignment early, so that integration later is cheap, not expensive. - Plan and drive the Integrate phase: hand over knowledge, code, processes and responsibility cleanly to the receiving Tech Teams and departments – then let go. - Communicate transparently with Leadership and stakeholders – make phase transitions, risks and trade-offs visible; secure sponsorship for the next bet. - Be ready to start the next speedboat. Staying owner of an old topic forever is not part of the job. REQUIREMENTS - Experience. 5+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g. fast-scaling startups). Demonstrable end-to-end responsibility in software development is a plus. - Zero-to-One Track Record. Proven experience launching new products, business lines or major new initiatives from scratch – ideally inside a larger company (intrapreneurship, new BU, spin-out, greenfield). - Background. Strong background in relevant fields, e.g. Business, Engineering, Design, Communication, Computer Science, or similar. - Cross-Functional Breadth. You are comfortable working with Ops, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance – not just Engineering. You can switch context between a technical architecture discussion and a unit-economics conversation in the same morning. - Mindset. Self-driven, high ambiguity tolerance, comfortable with letting go of ownership – no need for micromanagement or specific tickets. - Technical Aptitude. Technical mindset with a passion for understanding systems, data flows, and integrations, coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning and problem solving. Energy-Tech domain knowledge is a plus, not a requirement. - Language. Fluent in English; German is a plus. SKILLS AND QUALITIES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US 🚀 Outcome-Led. You focus on value over volume. You embrace iteration, adapt quickly to new information, and prioritize what moves the needle for business and user. 🧠 Systems Thinker. You see the bigger picture. You understand how a new initiative connects to the existing organization, products and processes – so that what you incubate can actually be integrated later. ⚡ Pragmatic. You choos...
