About the role We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to help design and build high-quality computer science curriculum for elementary and middle school students across our CodeHS, CodeHop and Tynker brands. This role focuses on creating engaging instructional materials, supporting teachers, and ensuring curriculum aligns with standards and classroom needs. This is an in-office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North. What you'll do Design and build new K–8 computer science curriculum Develop teacher resources such as lesson plans and activities Align curriculum to standards Improve existing curriculum Customize courses for schools and districts Create instructional videos Support implementation and professional development Qualifications Experience teaching elementary or middle school Experience teaching coding/CS/STEM in K-8 preferred Strong organization and communication skills Collaborative and self-motivated Location Full-time, in-office role in Chicago (River North).
