About the role: As a Senior Product Leader and key decision-maker shaping OpenWeb's Advertising and Data strategy, the Director of Product Management will own the product vision end-to-end — from definition to execution — while keeping the product organization tightly aligned with business objectives. This role partners closely with executive, technical, and revenue leaders to ideate, build, and bring innovative product solutions to market. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our Product team while staying at the forefront of advertising technology and digital content consumption. What You’ll Get To Do: Own the programmatic supply roadmap, balancing revenue growth, publisher and advertiser value prop, and long-term monetization sustainability across OpenwebOS. Drive the strategy of our unique set of Consumer Data across product lines Connect the dots across multiple products to identify compounding opportunities, shared infrastructure, and bets that move the needle on the open web ecosystem as a whole. Pilot product commercialization in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Solutions, Client Services, and others. Exemplify good product management practices from gathering market intelligence, analyzing use cases, writing thoughtful PRDs, and prioritizing work according to value and revenue impact. ** Candidates with prior people management experience will directly manage a team of product managers, while others will have the opportunity to grow into a people management role over time ** The Skills and Experience You Bring: 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years managing other PMs. Deep Ad Tech domain expertise with a strong technical understanding of SSP, DSP, data curation, or publisher monetization. You understand programmatic advertising from the inside out! Demonstrated track record of shipping impactful products in complex, cross-functional environments. Strong understanding of AI/ML models Strong analytical skills; comfortable digging into data, running A/B tests, and building a case from first principles. Excellent written and verbal communicator. You can distill a complex problem into a crisp one-pager and hold your own in a room with engineers, executives, and external partners. A proven ability to bridge strategic vision and hands-on leadership, fostering innovation, product management excellence, and team growth. Customer-first and a results-driven mindset! Must be able to join us in our New York office 3x a week. Preferred Attributes: Experience in media, Adtech, or social/community platforms.
