We’re looking for a Team Manager, Sales Development, Japan in order to build a talent hub for the go to market, as well feed the sales team with potential customers from inbound leads & outbound leads. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales Development APJ with a dotted line to the VP of Japan. Why is this role so important at Similarweb? This role is critical for managing the performance of Sales Development reps. Both Inbound & Outbound reps feed the go to marketing team with high quality meetings in order to create opportunities in order to generate new business for the company. As Team Manager, Sales Development, you will be expected to hire, mentor & train reps to perform at the highest level and reach their team completed meeting & opp target. As well as close won. You will impact processes to inbound flow & outbound activities, reps performance, rep growth, and regional KPIs So, what will you be doing all day? Your role as part of the Sales Development team means your daily responsibilities may include: Manage and coach a team of Sales Development to successfully book business for GTM Responsible to outbound into a set of existing accounts to drive meeting and pipeline You will manage and monitor all KPI’s such as calls, emails sent, meetings booked You will represent the front line of the company’s GTM efforts, playing an important role in growing the business. You’ll be tasked with developing the sales process and helping define the strategy in setting up your ‘pod’ for success. Responsibility for hiring and onboarding new SDRs on their team Provide ongoing coaching and training to ensure positive growth and skill development Developing strong relationships with stakeholders within SimilarWeb (GTM sales teams - mainly in the US) Work closely with the Data, CRM, Field Marketing, Sales Team, and Sales Operation teams to ensure successful sales meetings Conduct regular analysis to understand the root cause of team performance and actions to accelerate growth This is the perfect job for someone who: Fluent in Japanese & English Knowledgeable in the Japanese Market 2-3 years of experience in sales development, and or sales 1-2 years of experience as a manager Proven work experience as Sales Development Representative ; inbound and outbound experience preferred. Management, and Sales. At least 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS companies Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs Previous experience in a sales related function Previous and demonstrable experience developing leads (Outbound or Inbound) Experience with CRM (Salesforce) Experience with Salesloft or similar tools (Preferred) Additional Languages- Advantage Familiarity with SaaS- Advantage Experience working closely with different functions in your org (Biz\Sales ops, Data teams, Sales team etc.) Hunger, ambition, drive in wanting to develop yourself personally in a fast-paced challenging business world *All Team Leaders are expected to be in the office everyday with their reps to help motivate & guide their reps About the team The Sales Development team is a direct talent feeder into the GTM reps such as SDR, Sales, & AM.
