As the Advertising Director, Turkey , you will own and grow Taboola's advertiser business with Turkey as your primary market and engine of growth . This is a hands-on commercial leadership role: you will lead both halves of the engine — a team of sellers landing and scaling new business, and a team of account managers driving retention and growth — while staying personally close to the biggest deals and clients. You own the full customer lifecycle, advertiser strategy and the market book of business end to end - reporting directly to the Country Manager. We're looking for an exceptionally ambitious, sales-savvy leader - someone senior enough and expert of performance advertising and have seen it all, but still hungry enough to be at the forefront. You don't manage pipelines; you build the people and the environment that makes great pipelines inevitable. You and your team will build and manage long-term strategic partnerships with direct clients and agencies, advocating the power of our platform and scaling our momentum in some of the most exciting growth markets in the world. You will be a senior face of Taboola in the region — present at the biggest client meetings, on stage at key industry events, and personally engaged wherever the stakes are highest. Success in this role is your team's relentless prospecting and pipeline development, new client acquisition and activation, client retention and growth, and achievement against aggressive total revenue goals across multiple markets and currencies. This is not a role for someone who says "I wouldn't chase that" — you set the culture, lead by example, and your team takes its cues from you. To thrive in this role, you'll need: An extremely ambitious, driven self-starter who creates their own momentum when it’s needed - no task is beneath you when there's revenue on the table Minimum of 10 years in a senior commercial or advertising leadership position, with a background from a major agency, brand-side marketing team, or leading technology/ad-tech company — you understand how advertisers think and make budget decisions because you've been inside those conversations Deep familiarity with the Turkish advertising market — its clients, agencies, dynamics and decision-makers — and the ambition to make it your flagship market Fluency in advertiser measurement frameworks — CAC, LTV, incrementality, MMM and attribution gaps are concepts you've mastered and can use to challenge, consult and win the confidence of sophisticated advertisers Proven experience directly managing, recruiting and developing both a sales team and an account management team — combined headcount of at least 4 people — while still leading from the front and rolling up your own sleeves A natural leader and coach : you know how to build a team's commercial instincts, teach them how to prospect and position, and elevate the people around you — but when the moment demands it, you are the first one to pick up the phone and chase; "I wouldn't do that" is simply not in your vocabulary Proven success in securing and scaling customer budgets, and in growing and retaining existing accounts post-sale Relentless track record independently building, pursuing and closing a large pipeline of leads, and running structured account and retention plans Significant experience in structuring and negotiating deals within the digital media space Experience mentoring sellers and account managers and pushing them to excellent performance Must be technologically savvy — able to learn what is needed to support successful deal implementation and optimization Experienced in building great team culture and camaraderie across distributed, multi-market teams Ab
